Aurora Viewing Tour

The Aurora Borealis is one of the most beautiful natural phenomena one can experience and chances are excellent that you will see it if you come for a visit to the Yukon in the winter.

We’ll welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your Hotel in downtown Whitehorse. The hotel is located within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants, banks and stores. Information meeting and registration for optional tours at the hotel. Fitting of winter clothing, time for shopping and dinner on your own. 9:30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. A cozy, heated cabin or yurt with hot drinks and snacks makes your Aurora viewing even more enjoyable. Return to hotel around 2:00 am.

YurtThe next day includes a morning city tour with Main Street, Train Depot of the White Pass and Yukon Route, Log Skyscraper, Log Church, Sternwheeler SS Klondike, Fish ladder, Schwatka Lake and some residential areas. Afternoon optional tour.

9:30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. Again, in a warm-up cabin hot drinks and snacks are provided. You may sit around a roaring fire and share stories. Return to hotel around 2:00 am.

Day 3 (same for any succeeding days in longer packages): Morning at your leisure. Afternoon optional tour. 09:30 pm departure for Aurora viewing. Return to hotel around 2:00 am.

Final day: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
