Equipment rentals for river adventures represent the core of our business. We can outfit you for a variety of different water travels and provide everything for an extended wilderness trip such as canoes, cooking gear and the ground or air transportation to your put in. Our fleet of canoes, kayaks, boats and bikes are available for rent from May to October. We also have a selection of winter equipment for rent. Summer and winter we can help the self-propelled outdoor enthusiast to be safe and well equipped.
Canoes
We rent a variety of canoes from industry leading manufacturers including, Nova Craft, Old Town, Mad River, and Esquif. The weight of an average canoe is around 80 pounds and will carry 980 to 1100 pounds. We also have larger Old Town Tripper XL’s, which are 20-foot canoes for two to three persons. These hold 1700 pounds and have an optional side-motor mount.
Up North Adventures has a 30′ Voyager Canoe which can hold up to 12 people and is perfectly suited for guided group tours and special events.

Kayaks
We rent Boreal Designs, Dagger, Perception and Wilderness Systems single and double kayaks. We have a range of sizes to accommodate any paddler.

Motorboats
Boats with motors are available and the rental rates vary, depending on the size of boat and duration of trip. Ask us where the good fishing spots are! Included with boat rental: life jackets, paddles / oars, day tank, spare gas can and spare propeller and trailer for 2″ ball.

Mountain Bikes
We rent two styles of Mountain Bikes for use around the Whitehorse area: Brodie Bandit and Kona Blast. Both feature front suspension and are perfect for exploring the excellent trails that are close by! We are able to supply you with maps and detailed information about a variety of trails that are available.
