Yukon River Self-Guided Trip
Relive the past in the adventures of the present! The Yukon River is best known for assisting the gold seekers during the exciting Klondike Gold Rush. You will see old relics of several steamers, old cabins, and gold dredges on the banks along the river. As you paddle down this fast-flowing river you will canoe through many famous Yukon landmarks such as Lake Laberge (made famous by poet, Robert Service), Thirty-Mile River, and Hootalinqua. The Yukon flows north from the Southern Yukon (Marsh Lake), all the way to the Bering Strait which is a total distance of 3000 kilometres. Take your time, there is plenty to see and do.
